May 18, 2016 · Regular sand works fine but it will wash away with time and it can grow weeds. I have not used stone dust. I like that idea. It would probably wash away too but it might not grow weeds as quick. I guess it depends on the dust and the weeds. I like the moss idea mentioned by MarkJames. Never tried it but it could work.
